There will be a parent informational meeting following band camp on Thursday, July 29th(we'll start after 5:00 pm)in the SEHS lunchroom. We have 2 band parents that have offered to cater a Bar-B-Q for our students in appreciation of the hard work they've put in the past 2 weeks at band camp. ...talking about our plans for the upcoming marching season. Our band needs a strong booster organization to be successful. I hope that you will come out and support your student(s) and band directors. We have many opportunities for you to help both large and small.
There were a couple of errors on the concession stand volunteer form. Our first HOME game is Prattville (not Thompson) on Friday, September 3 (not Sept 20). I apologize for the confusion and errors on the forms. Thank you to those who have returned the forms. There will be sign-up sheets available at the meeting Thursday for you to sign up as well. It takes about 25-27 concession workers per game (total for both sides) to effectively run our stands. Without those workers, we lose sales and profits. Prattville and Wetumpka games generally need closer to 30 workers because we need runners between sides, the grill and prep people to keep on top of the orders. THe profits we make from these 2 games alone help to sustain us through next year when our profits our much lower. PLEASE HELP!
