Elmore County Honor Band Itinerary - UPDATED!

Please review the Elmore County Honor Band Itinerary. A couple of quick reminders: please have extra reeds, value oil, and a good attitude at all times. Refrain from chewing gum and wearing hats during this event. Cell phones must on vibrate/silent/off and out of sight-anyone caught texting or using their cell phone will be dismissed from the honor band. Please be on time to all events and prepared to play. Congratulations on your selection! Good luck!

Checks should be made out to Elmore County Bandmasters.

Dress code --- Friday Band shirt, Sat. Bring Marching Band uniform
(shoes/socks/pants/jacket)

Junior High students should not car pool.

FRIDAY JANUARAY 15TH
7:45 a.m. Arrive at Wetumpka High/Middle School (depending on which band you are in)and find your seat. The down beat will be given at 8:00 a.m.
11:30 a.m. Break for Lunch (Subway-cold cut trio, chips and a cookie)
12:45 p.m. Make your way back to your seat and be ready to play by 12:55.
1:00 p.m. Down beat for afternoon rehearsal
4:30 p.m. Break for Dinner (Domino’s Pizza)
5:45 p.m. Make your way back to your seat and be ready to play by 5:55.
6:00 p.m. Down beat for night rehearsal
8:00 p.m. Dismiss to go home. Please have your parents at the school at 7:45 p.m. so we can ALL leave when it is time to go home.
SATURDAY JANUARAY 16TH
8:15 a.m. Arrive at Wetumpka Civic Center for finally run through for the concert.
8:30 a.m. High School band on stage for final rehearsal.
9:30 a.m. High School band dismisses and middle school band takes the stage.(High School band will get dress for the concert at this time)
10:25 a.m. Middle School band will dismiss to get dressed for concert.
10:50 a.m. Middle School band reports back to the stage for concert.
High School Band will be sitting in their reserved seating at this time.
11:00 a.m. Concert begins.
